A Good City I've Visited

When I was 16 years old, I studied abroad to Canada for two weeks during summer vacation. I visited to Victoria with my classmates. Victoria is the capital city of British Columbia, Canada. There are many  historic buildings and the city flower gardens are famous over the world, so it is also called Garden City. You can enjoy watching them walking around Down Town because they are gathered. Victoria has a temperate clime with mild in Canada, so it is easy to spend for us. I recommend that you go to the Butchart Gardens. It is a typical sightseeing spot in Victoria and you can enjoy watching a variety of  arrangements and flowers through a year. They are so beautiful!! There is also a Japanese garden in some of the gardens. When I saw the sight, I was surprised! I enjoyed afternoon tea watching them.  I had a great time in Victoria, so I want to visit there again.

My character

My best point is probably that I'm positive and I'm with a smile anytime. If I take a mistake, I think in a good direction everything. That's why If  I think so, I become comfortable. I believe that things will be success someday. Second, I'm tenacious. When I decide the goal, I try to work hard toward the goal without giving up. That point is the most important to live in my life. I want to find more my good point in the future.

Which story is true?

1. When I was 17 years old, I went to Okinawa with my friend's family in the summer vacation. I went to Okinawa for the first time, so I was looking forward to the trip. The first day, I went to the Churaumi Aquarium with them. There are so many fishes and I was glad that I could see famous dugonga sea pigs. It was very cute. Next day, we went to the sea to play marin sports. I walked into the sea and watched many fishes. I had a good trip.

2. When I was 17 years old, I went to Tokyo with my friends for 3 days in the summer vacation.
We went shopping and bought a lot of clothes I like. Second day, I go to the Korea Idol Concert with them. It has four hours, so we can have very enjoyed. I think this was the best concert!! I want to go this concert again.

My Summer Vacation

I had a lot of fun in the summer vacation. I went to swimming in the sea and did BBQ with my freinds and so on. Recently, I went to Korea with my friend for three days. I traveled abroad with my freind for the first time, so there was something that I was worried about. When we arrived in Korea, we went to Myeong-dong to eat Yakiniku. It was so delicious, but it was a little high cost for us. After that, we went shopping in Dongdaemun Market. There are so many low prices clothes, shoes, and bags, so we did some shopping till early morning! Next day, we went to Gangnam by train. We took the train for the first time in Korea, so we didn't know how to take the train. When we confused, a man let us know that. I thought Korean men were gentle. Thanks to the man, we got to garosu-gil street. This street is located in Shinsadon and there are a lot of fashionable shops. I recommend you go to there. I was glad that I could buy various items during the trip and I wished to come to Korea with my friends again.

My favorite season

My favorite season is summer. I think summer is the most exiting season. I'll tell you three reasons about that.
First, there are many events in summer. For example, fireworks displays and summer festivals. I go to  Biwako fireworks display with my friends every year. A lot of huge fireworks are launched, so it is very beautiful and impresses us. Then also, I go to Gion festival every year. It is famous for Kyoto as a big summer festival and it is popular for many tourists. Therefore, the town is in a festive mood every year, I recommend you go to Gion festival.
Secondly, there is a long summer vacation. We can go to some places, so I go on a trip with my family or friends every summer vacation. In this summer, I want to go to many places with my friends. For example, I want to go to swim at a beautiful sea and also I want to go to Tokyo Disney Land. I'm looking forward to come the summer vacation.
Finally, summer is a bargain season. I always go shopping to Osaka because there are more shops than Kyoto. I can buy a lot of clothes at a bargain sale, so I'm happy!!
For conclusion, I like summer the best because I can make a lot of happy memories.

Kiyomizudera temple

Kiyomizudera temple was built in 798 and rebuilt in 1633. It has been registered as a World Heritage Site. One part of the main hall is a veranda. It is called the "stage of Kiyomizu". We can look out over the city from here, so a lot of couples visit to see beautiful night view. It is one of the romantic spot in Kyoto. Then, it is well known to the expression " jump off the stage of Kiyomizu Temple" means to do some thing with strong determination. In addition, a lot of tourists visit to see colored leaves in autumn. It's so beautiful! I go to Kiyomizudera, in order to see autumnal leaves every year at this season. I feel very good. I recommend you to go there.

Larger City

I live in a big city in Kyoto. I think living a big city is better than a country city because there are a lot of advantages. First, for example, the big city is better traffic access and concentration companies and schools. Therefore, it is convenient for workers and students. Then also there are many convenience store. They can buy lunch easily. Secondly, we have more oppatunies to communicate with people. We will find a dream and hobby, so our choice of life will increase. Finaly, there are many hospitals. It is important for elderly to care disease. That's why I think that living in the big city is convenient.
